The short version: Sunrise Shack serves bullet coffee at six shacks on Oahu: Twin Fin Waikiki, Kapahulu, Ala Moana Center, Kailua, Haleiwa and Sharks Cove, plus Long Beach, California. Our Sunset Beach shack has closed and our Outrigger Waikiki shack is closed for renovation until early 2027, so use the list below.
What is bullet coffee?
Our Bullet Coffee is organic coffee blended with healthy fats like coconut oil and MCT oil until it is creamy and frothy, with no added sugar. It is the drink we started with in 2016, served to surfers at dawn on the North Shore. There are four on the menu:
- Mac Nut Bullet: coconut oil, MCT oil, coconut creamer and house macadamia nut butter. Our most ordered bullet by a wide margin, and dairy free.
- Classic Bullet: coconut oil, MCT oil, grass fed butter and vanilla. The original.
- Coconut Bullet: made without butter, for a lighter, tropical cup.
- Almond Coconut Bullet: made without butter, with almond and coconut.
Only the Classic Bullet contains butter, so if you are dairy free, order the Mac Nut, Coconut or Almond Coconut.
