The Sunrise Shack is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people who use screen readers or other assistive technologies. We want every member of our ohana to be able to browse our menu, find our locations, shop, and apply to work with us.

Our Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Our site includes features such as text alternatives for images, descriptive labels on links and forms, keyboard navigation support (including a skip to content link and pause controls on slideshows), sufficient color contrast, and screen reader friendly page structure.

Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review our website against WCAG 2.1 AA with automated and manual testing and work to fix issues as they are found. Our most recent review was completed in October 2026. Some third party content (such as embedded maps and ordering platforms) may not be fully within our control, but we choose partners who share our commitment where possible.
